The Vila Gale Collection Braga is an accessible four-star hotel located in the center of Braga, which stands out for being one of the oldest cities in the country, for its valuable religious heritage and its local gastronomy events.
This establishment is housed in a restored hospital dating back to 1508, built where there once was a hermitage, a hostel and a Templar convent. Today, the building preserves the original arched ceilings and presents a style that combines the classic with the contemporary. All of its common areas have been adapted for people with reduced mobility.
It has a cloister with beautiful and large gardens. The on-site spa caters to guests’ body and soul, complete with a heated pool, massage rooms and a gym. The hotel has two restaurants that serve local cuisine and are decorated with paintings that honors the history of Braga. In addition, it has a bar, a patio with two outdoor swimming pools (one for adults and the other with slides for children), a playground and several rooms for events.
Private parking and Internet access are free. Paid laundry service, a 24-hour reception, room service and a business center with a computer are also available. Children under the age of 14 years of age stay and eat for free when staying in the same room as their parents.
